English for Specific Purposes: One-to-One
The English for Specific Purposes (ESP) One-to-One programme is tailored for students with particular language goals. This option combines general English lessons with customized one-to-one sessions to address your specific needs. While the general English lessons provide a broad foundation in everyday language use, the one-to-one sessions are designed to focus on your individual objectives. Whether you need help preparing for a job interview, enhancing your presentation skills, or developing language skills pertinent to your job, our expert instructors will create a personalized programme to meet your requirements.
Eligibility and Schedule
This course is available to students aged 18 and over. The standard schedule includes 20 general English lessons each week, coupled with 10 one-to-one sessions, totaling 22.5 hours of instruction per week. Morning classes run from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM, followed by afternoon one-to-one sessions from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. During weeks with public holidays, morning lessons are extended by 45 minutes and afternoon sessions by 25 minutes, ensuring that students continue to receive comprehensive instruction.
Assessment
Before the course begins, students undergo an assessment to ensure they are placed in the appropriate level. Ongoing progress tests and a final evaluation are conducted throughout the programme. Students receive a certificate of attendance or completion upon finishing the course, reflecting their achievements and progress.
One-to-One Lessons
Overview
Our One-to-One Lessons are ideal for students seeking individual attention and customized support. Available in two formats—5 lessons (4.75 hours) or 10 lessons (7.5 hours)—these sessions are designed to follow a set curriculum from the general English programme while allowing for deeper exploration of challenging topics. Each lesson lasts either 45 minutes or 90 minutes, providing flexibility to fit your schedule and learning needs. This format allows for focused feedback and tailored instruction on areas that students find most challenging.
Eligibility and Schedule
Available to all students aged 18 and over, these one-to-one lessons are offered at the following times: 5 lessons are available at 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM, 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM, or 1:50 PM to 2:35 PM. For 10 lessons, the schedule includes a similar structure with flexible timings. During weeks with public holidays, lesson times are extended—45-minute lessons by 15 minutes and 90-minute lessons by 25 minutes—to ensure consistent learning.
Assessment
As with other courses, an initial assessment is conducted to place students at the correct level. Progress is monitored through regular tests and a final assessment at the end of the course. A certificate of attendance or completion is awarded upon successful completion, acknowledging the student’s commitment and progress.
Combination: One-to-One Lessons
Overview
This option combines our General English programme with additional one-to-one lessons to offer a blend of group learning and individualized attention. Students can choose between 20 general English lessons plus 5 one-to-one sessions (18.75 hours) or 20 general English lessons plus 10 one-to-one sessions (22.5 hours) each week. Group lessons provide a dynamic environment to practice all four language skills through interactive activities, while the one-to-one sessions offer personalized feedback and support to address specific learning needs.

Open to students aged 18 and over, the General English classes run from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM. For the one-to-one component, 5 lessons are scheduled at 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM, 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM, or 1:50 PM to 2:35 PM, and 10 lessons are scheduled from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. During weeks with public holidays, the extended hours policy applies, adding 45 minutes to morning lessons and 25 minutes or 15 minutes to afternoon one-to-one sessions based on the lesson length.
