The EEC-ITIS Malta Institute for Tourism and Languages
Our story
The EEC-ITIS Malta Tourism and Languages Institute is a tertiary education institution funded in early 2000s and located in San Gwann, Malta.
It comprises the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, the Faculty of Languages and its Language Center, the Placement Office, and our college.

Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management
Formerly known as ITIS Malta TOurism Institute, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management forms every year professionals ready to enter the job market with unmatchable skills: the knowledge and experience to work in a truly international environment, the most up-to-date best practices in tourism management and the desire to ascend the career ladder in the world of Tourism.
Malta is, in fact, the perfect ground for studies in Hospitality Management as the islands themselves are tourism heaven that hosts over 200 hotels, a large number of restaurants and entertainment centres in a small area of only 316 sq. km (122 sq.miles).
Important groups like InterContinental Hotel Group, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Radisson Hotel Group, Corinthia Hotels, Kempinski Hotels as well as the locally owned hotel chain ST Hotel are all realities present on the island and the perfect ground for our students.
About half the jobs in the archipelago are connected directly or indirectly to tourism. Tourism is one of the two pillars of the Maltese economy alongside iGaming and Financial Services. This environment marks Malta as perfect place for any student in tourism studies to learn and acquire first hand training within true reality of the industry’s practices.

Faculty of Languages
The faculty operates both for students enrolled into the academic routes available and through its Language Center, that offers the same high-quality language courses to the public as well.

The college for international students is the way we administer the relationship with both hotel structures and host families in order for our students to be able to focus entirely on their studies.
It examines any request of partnership, carefully selects host families and, in the eventuality of issues, solves efficiently any problem that might arise.
